Anna Marie Tendler revealed she wrote a suicide note before voluntarily checking herself into a mental health facility in 2021. The 39-year-old, who was married to comedian John Mulaney, 40, for seven years, was hospitalized for depression and suicidal ideation in the first two weeks of 2021, roughly a year after her marriage started to crumble. In a new essay published in Elle on July 23, the artist shared an excerpt of her experience from her upcoming memoir, Men Have Called Her Crazy.
